The Muskehounds

This second season of Dogtanian is based, in part, on The Man in the Iron Mask, the third part of the novel The Vicomte de Bragelonne: Ten Years Later, also by Alexandre Dumas, père. Plus, the hero of the English folklore, Robin Hood, is present.

Obs.: In this second series, the characters are referenced as being "Muskehounds" and not "Musketeers", like in the first one;
and it has to be said that, in this second season, King Louis XIII is very courageous, smart and good at sword fighting!

Dogtanian and Juliette are married and live near Paris with their two children, Philippe and Fleur. He and The Three Muskehounds are called by Queen Anne after her husband, King Louis XIII, starts behaving in a strange way.

Arriving in Paris, they see for themselves that the Queen is right to be worried, as Monsieur Treville tells them that the King (who now likes cats!) has decided that the Royal Muskehounds will be replaced by the Richelieu's Guard. As a new mission begins — and it will take time to solve the mystery — Juliette and the kids move to Paris to stay with Dogtanian.

After solving the mystery of the King's strange behavior, the Muskehounds have other problems to overcome. To protect the Duke of Bavaria (who is in France do sight a peace treating), the poisoning of the King (the help of magician Alexei comes in time), the unfairly taxing of the people in Normandy in name of Louis XIII and a thief — Pedigree Hood, who is stealing said taxes from the Kingdom.

The next mission for the Muskehounds is to escort King Louis's cousin, Princess Dalma, safe to the Royal Palace. And again, a thief crosses their path: the Black Rose bandit!

One for all and all for one
What a very happy story
One for all and all for one
Here they come, your heroes
We will sing together now
Sing for everybody
One, two, three, we're looking at
The Three Muskehounds!

Will you fight with me today?
I just want to stop and say
Yes, en garde, be ready now
Gonna show you how.
Tell me do you like this game?
Let's pretend it's true
It's me and you and all our friends
Like the Muskehounds!

Imagine if one day you
You found yourself in danger
Like Dogtanian no stranger to any man he meets.

Imagine if one day you
You meet their enemies
And with your sword you put them in their place.
